If you are reading this, most likely you have a copy of my book, Chai on Life. Thank you for reading it!
I hope the book will inspire you to follow in my footsteps and to write down the stories of your life. Since getting started is the hard part, why not use the book itself as a jumping off point? For instance, the Prologue is summarized with this lesson:
Your mind believes what you tell it, so tell it positive things.
Perhaps this statement alone evokes something in you. If so, grab a spiral notebook and write down what you are thinking! If not, here are three prompts to write about instead. (Write about one of them or all of them. There is no right or wrong, just what feels best to you.)
- Make a list of 5 to 10 positive things about yourself.
- Make a list of 5 to 10 things your friends would say are positive about you.
- Make a list of the friends who help you to be most positive in life.
That was easy, right? And hopefully enlightening.
For more writing prompts, return to this website where I will post new prompts weekly. They will appear on Tuesdays at noon ET.
Best regards,
Lorie
