Thank you for reading the story, Reinventing Yourself: A How-To.
Its one-line takeaway is: On the road to success, even the smallest steps move you forward.
Now grab your notebook or journal and if this line evokes something in you, write down what you are thinking.
If not, here are three prompts – borrowed from the story – to write about instead:
- Write about the most dramatic personal reinvention you have experienced. What would you do differently if you had a “do over”?
- What is the next reinvention that you see on the horizon? How might you prepare for it in advance?
- Are you in a relationship – with a friend, spouse, child, parent, etc. – that you would like to reinvent in order to make it better? You can only control your own actions in any relationship, but what are ten tiny steps you can take to get where you want to go?
As always, write about one of these prompts or all of them. There is no right or wrong, just what feels best to you.
